A woman near Walkerville has found a lost dog wandering in today’s snowfall.

This dog was found on New Years Day wandering around in the snow in the 1100 block Langlois Avenue – around 5:30pm.

The female dog is described as very friendly, likes other animals and is shy around kids.

The family who found the dog went door to door in the area looking for her home with no luck. After warming her up and feeding her they continued walking around hoping to run into her owner with again no luck.

The dog had no dog tags. They contacted the Human Society who came to pick her up. If you know who’s dog this is, you can contact the Humane Society at 519-966-5751.

Pet owners are reminded to put tags on their dog(s) or have them chipped. This helps a lot trying to find their home when lost.
