168 Residents in the Drouillard road area gathered tonight witness the Christmas Tree Lighting with Santa. Children along with Ward 5 City Councillor Ed Sleiman plugged the lights in for the tree with Santa in the background.

Complimentary hot chocolate was given out after the lighting of the tree.  A cheque of $200 was also presented to the Ford City Residents in Action by the Ford City Business District Improvement Board of Management.
