Its a festive holiday weekend with the Windsor Symphony as famed lyric tenor Mark DuBios returns to Windsor for four holiday performances conducted by Peter Wiebe.

Three Toldo Pops concerts will take place at the Capitol Theatre Friday, Saturday and Subday with a special encore performance, the Amherstburg Christmas Concert Sunday night at St. John the Baptist Church.

Dubois, a favourite with WSO audiences, brings up-and-coming soprano Julia Obermeyer to Windsor for a performance that includes Handel, Tchaikovsky, and Schubert with holiday hits “White Christmas,” “O Holy Night,” “Hark the Herald Angels,” and more. The Windsor-Essex Youth Choir, led by Susan Belleperche, will also be featured on the three Windsor concerts.

Toldo Pops performances take place at the Capitol Theatre on Friday and Saturday at 8pm and Sunday at 2:30pm.

The annual WSO Amherstburg Christmas Concert is Sunday at 8pm at St. John the Baptist Church.

Tickets for all four performances are available at the WSO Box Office, 519-973-1238 ex. 2, and online at mywso.ca
