City Of Windsor Services Reduced During Christmas Week

Here is a rundown of all City of Windsor services over Christmas week.
All City of Windsor offices will be closed on Christmas and Boxing Day and on New Years Day. The next City Council meeting will be held at 6pm on Monday, January 6th.
311 Call Centre:
The 311 Call Centre will have reduced hours from 7am to 4:30pm on Tuesday, December 24th and Tuesday, December 31st. The Call Centre will be closed on Christmas and Boxing Day and on New Years Day. Normal hours of 7am to 7pm apply to all other weekdays during the holiday season.
211 Windsor-Essex:
The 211 Call Centre will remain open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week throughout the holiday period.
Garbage & Recycling Collection Service:
There will be no residential collection services Christmas Day, Boxing Day or New Years Day. Residential collection services will be delayed after these holidays. You can refer to your Collection Schedule, Waste and Recycling, or call 311 for more information.
Public Drop-off and Household Chemical Waste Depots at the northeast corner of Central Avenue and E.C. Row will be closed on December 24th, 25th, 26th, and January 1st.
Parks and Recreation:
Community centres, pools, arenas, outdoor ice rinks, WFCU Centre, Ojibway Nature Centre, Willistead Manor, and Mackenzie Hall continue with scheduled programs and rentals. Parking Enforcement:
There will be no parking enforcement and the ticket payment office will be closed on Christmas and Boxing Day and on New Years Day.
Windsor Public Library:
All branches will be closed on the following days: Sunday, December 22th; Tuesday, December 24th; Wednesday, December 25th; Thursday, December 26th; Sunday, December 29th; and Wednesday, January 1st. All branches, except Remington Park, will be open 9 am to 5 pm on Monday, December 23rd; and Monday, December 30th. All branches, except Fontainebleau, Remington Park, Seminole, Sandwich and South Walkerville will be open 9 am to 5 pm on Friday, December 27th. All branches will be open 9 am to 5pm on Saturday, December 28th; and Tuesday, December 31st.
Windsor’s Community Museum:
The museum is closed December 23rd to 26th open December 27th and 28th. The museum is closed December 29th and 30th. It is open December 31st and closed January 1st and opens again for regular hours on January th2. Please note that the museum is always closed on Sundays and Mondays.
