The Friends of Canard River regularly host cleanups along different sections of the Canard River, and tree plantings to help increase forest habitat within the watershed. The Friends of Canard River meet the third Thursday of each month at 6:30pm at St. Thomas of Villanova High School in LaSalle, in the library and new members are always welcome.
The dinner takes place at the Knights of Columbus Hall located at 8965 Malden Road in LaSalle. The evening will begin at 6:30pm with a cash bar, followed by dinner at 7pm.
