County Road 46 near the Richardson Sideroad in Tilbury as seen on Google Maps

A woman was killed and two others were sent to hospital after a two car accident Friday afternoon on County Road 46 eastbound near the Richardson Sideroad.

OPP say that their preliminary investigation indicates that a Dodge Neon travelling east on County Road 46 lost control, swerved across the road and collided with a Ford Mustang.

The driver of the Neon was pronounced dead at the scene while the passengers of the Mustang were taken to Public General Hospital in Chatham with what are believed to be non life threatening injuries.

Police have identified 21 year old Ashley Doucet of Lakeshore as the victim of the crash.
