Windsor Fire crews battled a house fire in the 700 block of Assumption Street late Tuesday night.
Heavy smoke was pouring from the basement of the house when fire crews arrived and quickly spread upward.
Within minutes, the rear of the house was engulfed in flames and arcing could be seen from a hydro connection.
Damage is estimated at $175,000.
There are no reports of injuries at this time.
Police are investigating.
