The air was brisk, but that did not stop hundreds of Windsorites from getting up early this morning to cheer on the thousands of runners as they made their way off the Ambassador Bridge and down Riverside Drive to the Tunnel as part of the 36th Detroit Free Press Marathon.
Runners started to enter Canada around 7:30am and by 9 all had made their way off of the Ambassador Bridge and were heading down Riverside Drive. Shortly after 10am, the tunnel was back open for business.
Many Windsorites took part in this year’s marathon, and if you know someone who participated, you can see how they did right at this link.
