The summer of 2013 was one of the wettest summers on record, and the last full day of summer will start off wet.
Environment Canada says that a slow-moving cold front will be tracking across Southern Ontario bringing bands of rain at times heavy with isolated thunderstorms to the region.
General rainfall amounts are expected to be in the 20 to 40 mm range.
Rain should move out of the area by early morning.
