On Friday August 16th, the LaSalle Police historical vehicle committee went to the “The 13th Annual Ferndale Emergency Vehicle Show”, in Ferndale Michigan. They also participated in the “Lights and Sirens Cruise”.

This cruise kicked off the Annual Woodward Avenue Dream Cruise and vehicles included vintage Police, Fire and Ambulance vehicles. After coming in a “very close second” the last two years Car 48 of the LaSalle Police prevailed and was named “Best Police Vehicle”.

Car 48 beat out 44 other police vehicles.

It also marks the first time that a Canadian Vehicle has won.
