Downtown’s most well-known park, the Dieppe Gardens are in bloom with summer flowers this week. Dieppe Park is named in memory of many members of the Essex-Kent Scottish Regiment who perished during the World War II event at Dieppe, France in 1942. The park features monuments to the Canadian Army and Navy and is rich with brightly coloured annuals and perennials.
