Dr. G. Allen Heimann, Medical Officer of Health, has declared a level 1 heat alert for Windsor-Essex County for Tuesday, August 27th.
A level 1 heat alert is issued whenever the forecast predicts a humidex value reaching 40. In this case, humidex values are expected to reach 40 or higher today.
