The headache may be ending soon on Walker Road between EC Row and Foster, but construction is set to begin shortly on yet another phase.
The next segment will include lane restrictions, construction and widening of the road between Ledyard Street and Division.
The next phase will continue the theme of Walker Road with concrete roadways, coloured sidewalks, central left turning lanes, new watermains, sewers and other utilities.
Coco Paving will be undertaking the work for a cost of $3.4 million.
This is the final phase of roadway on Walker being paid for under the Province’s “Let’s Get Windsor-Essex Moving” strategy. One last phase, between Foster and Ledyard, will be paid for by the City of Windsor and constructed in 2018.
