Tuscarora Street in Downtown Windsor will be repaved under a plan by Councillor Fulvio Valentinis.
The road, from Ouellette to McDougall, will be entirely reconstructed with new sewers, watermains, curbs, sidewalks, gutters and a fresh coat of asphalt.
The project will cost $480,000.
Funding for the project comes from a one million dollar City Council allocation to each of Windsor’s ten municipal wards for projects deemed necessary to neighbourhoods. The project must still be approved by City Council.
