A 6-year-old Boston Terrier is safe and sound back home with its owner after going missing nearly a month ago.

Family members tell windsoriteDOTca that Dallas, who went missing on June 12th, was brought anonymously to the Humane Society yesterday.

Dallas had last been seen in the area of the Shoppers Drug Mart at Wyandotte Street West and Campbell on June 12th around 1:45pm. The owner believed the pet was taken by a 10-to-12 year old girl and the two headed northbound, past Benson school, towards the river.

Family members say Dallas doesn’t appear to have any signs of abuse, but he is “not 100% himself yet”. The family thanks the media and hundreds of people who helped to create awareness of the missing pet.

They feel that all the attention may have forced whoever had Dallas to “do the right thing”
