Environment Canada has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning as of 1:18pm.
Meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing large hail, damaging winds and heavy downpours. Rainfall at 50 mm in less than one hour, hail to 2 cm and frequent lightning are expected with this storm over the Detroit river moving slowly towards Windsor.
Communities in the path include: Windsor.
Emergency Management Ontario recommends that you take cover immediately, if threatening weather approaches.
