A new bar serving local and regional craft brews is opening soon in Downtown Windsor.
The Windsor Beer Exchange — or “TBX” — is a unique concept that will carry many local and regional craft beers.
Owners Josh Olsen (of Windsor band The Sean Connery Supergroup), Dan Duggan and Teddy Root plan to theme the bar in a stock exchange format where prices of draft brews fluctuate based on sales.
The owners came up with the concept while running their current business, Little Coast Kitchen Cleaning where they clean and service local restaurants.
Olsen says the bar will be a place for local artists of any kind to showcase their talents. “This bar is more than anything for supporting and showcasing the art scene.”
The Windsor Beer Exchange is located at 493 University Avenue West (corner of Bruce and University) in the old historic Navy Club building, and will be opening around July 26th.
