Several west end streets will be repaved this year and next under a plan by Councillor Ron Jones that will cost a total of $1 million dollars.

  • College from Brock to Prince
  • Strathmore from Wolfe to Matchette
  • The Tecumseh Service Road near Felix
  • Wolfe to Birch
  • Wolfe from Birch to Strathmore

In addition to the roads, Councillor Jones plans to dedicate $200,000 for wheelchair ramps in the area, plus work at Patterson Park.

Funding for the project comes from a one million dollar City Council allocation to each of Windsor’s ten municipal wards for projects deemed necessary to neighbourhoods. The project must still be approved by City Council.
