Almost 200 Pets Are Waiting For You To Adopt Them

There are almost 200 animals currently awaiting adoption in the Windsor/Essex County Humane Society’s Adoption Centre, and in the hopes of getting these animals into new homes as quickly as possible, the Humane Society is holding an amazing adoption sale for two days only –- this Saturday and Sunday.

In addition to summer fun and games, adopters will be able to choose from three special adoption fee discounts:

• Anyone adopting two animals will receive the second adoption absolutely free!
• Anyone adopting an animal two years and older will receive 50% off the adoption fee!
• Anyone adopting an animal who has been waiting for a home for more than two months will receive 50% off their adoption fee!

Even at these discounted rates all dog and cat adoptions come with the usual adoption package – spay/neuter surgery, microchip, DA2PP and kennel cough vaccines (dogs) or FVRCP vaccines (cats), deworming, flea treatment, tests for heartworm (dogs) or FeLV/FIV (cats), 6 weeks of health insurance, and post-adoption training classes! All adopted rabbits are spayed/neutered and microchipped.

The Adoption Centre will be open 11am to 6pm Saturday and Sunday for adoptions.
