The City of Windsor is sending out some reminders to all Windsorites as they begin to spring clean.

They remind everyone that big, bulky items are not allowed to be placed at curbside, and will not be collected with regular garbage collection. Bulky items are defined as any items larger than 1 metre (39 inches) in any one dimension or weighing more than 20 kilograms (44 pounds), including furniture, televisions, renovation material, and appliances.

Bulky items can be brought to the Public Drop Off Facility located at 3540 North Service Road East, Monday to Saturday between 8am and 4:45pm.

For a list of applicable tipping fees and free disposal items visit the City of Windsor website, or you can call 311.

“When neighbors work together, everybody wins.” says Manager of By-law Enforcement Ann Kalinowski.
