Windsor’s first summer festivals of the season kick off this weekend.
Setup began Thursday morning at Beaverfest as work crews put together tents, inflatables and set up chairs for patrons to enjoy acts such as Loverboy and Platium Blonde.
Over at Willistead Park, City of Windsor parks crews spent much of the week cutting the grass and adding mulch to areas of the park. Crews set up tents this morning in preparation for a Friday concert headlined by Default singer Dallas Smith. On Saturday and Sunday, the park will be filled with tens of thousands of patrons purchasing arts and crafts.
