Meadowbrook Optimist Park, a four-acre neighbourhood park in Forest Glad that was acquired in 1985, will be getting a new look.
Within the next few weeks, the city will begin work on draining and grading the park in preparation for some new recreation amenities including a new sports court, new pathways, new play equipment and more trees.
The park improvements are part of the 2013 budget.
The park is located on Meadowbrook Lane and Lauzon Parkway.
