The City of Windsor is asking for patience as crews work to ready Windsor’s parks for spring.

City officials say that they have received numerous calls regarding the condition of parks.

“A very wet start to spring, coupled with higher temperatures in recent weeks has led to accelerated growth throughout our park system,” said Executive Director of Parks and Facilities John Miceli. “Our crews are out each day getting them ready and making them beautiful for the season, but weather conditions have made us adjust our timelines a bit.”

The City predicts that staff will catch up to the abnormal burst of growth in the near future. “But, in the meantime,” says Miceli, “we apologize for the delay, and we appreciate your patience and understanding.”
