Downtown Windsor once again needs people to volunteer for Balloonapalooza, a two day festival taking place in downtown Windsor, August 17th and 18th.
Downtown officials say that each year the festival is supported by local volunteers who generously donate their time, talents and energy to help present this great event.
They are seeking volunteers, aged 13 and over to fill many positions including actors for inflatable balloon costumes, face painters, mimes, magicians, bands and solo acts, as well as general help with set-up and take down of the festival. High school students are also encouraged to participate and earn hours towards their community service involvement.
Anyone interested in volunteering this summer are encouraged to download the volunteer application form from the festival website at http://www.balloonapalooza.ca/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/2013-Volunteer-Application-Form.pdf.
Application forms can be emailed to Scott Burke at [email protected] or dropped off at the DWBIA’s Offices located at 419 Pelissier Street.
