The Bargain! Shop stores located in LaSalle and Tecumseh are set to liquidate and close by the end of May.
The company is closing 62 stores country-wide as it restructures and attempts to emerge from Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act protection.
The company was granted the protection on February 28th in order to develop a plan that will ensure the long term success and financial stability of The Bargain! Shop.
The liquidation process is expected to begin this week. It is business as usual at all other area locations.
Two stores in Chatham will also close.
