An accident at the site of the new Innovation Centre on the University of Windsor campus is under investigation.
University officials say that at approximately 4:30am this morning, there was a collapse of a few beams of erected steel on the south-west corner of the Innovation Centre.
The site was not occupied at the time and no one was injured. The collapse was contained to the closed-off area of the construction site itself and remains cordoned off.
The contractor is undergoing a full investigation into the cause of the collapse.
