Lost Money Returned To Owner

A large sum of money that was found in a South Windsor parking lot has been returned to its owner.
Police say that the package containing a substantial amount of Canadian currency was found in a parking lot between two parked cars late Saturday evening. After some investigating, it was determined that the money did not come from the business and the manager alerted police in the morning.
Just before noon today, a male party attended Windsor Police Headquarters to claim the money. He was able to provide investigators the exact amount of lost money including denominations.
He further provided his vehicle and plate information and it matched one of the vehicles in the immediate area the money was found.
He also produced an identical package that the money was found in.
