Holiday Beach opens this weekend for the summer season and is offering free entry to on Saturday and Sunday.
Holiday Beach features a sandy swimming beach, nature trails for hikes, a spectacular 40 foot viewing tower and abundant picnic areas.
Several upgrades were recently approved in the Essex Region Conversation Authority s budget this year for the park. One of the highlights is the construction of a new washroom and comfort station. Th new facility will be both energy and water efficient and includes solar-powered hot water, an accessible change room and outdoor showers, among many other new technologies.
Normal daily rates for cars is $10 and $2 for bike and walk in. You can check out camping prices on the Holiday Beach website.
