Abandoned House On Louis Avenue To Be Demolished

An a derelict building on Louis Avenue, sitting vacant since February 2010, will have a date with the wrecking ball soon.

The owner of the abandoned home located at 165 Louis applied for a demolition permit in September, but in order to do so, needs approval from City Council, as it falls in an area with a demolition control bylaw.

The owner states that once approval is given and he is issued a permit, the home will come down within one week. City Council makes the final call on April 8th.
