If you love to knit, then why not spend this Sunday afternoon doing something you love while helping out Windsor’s homeless.
This Sunday from 1pm to 6pm, a group will gather at the Riverside Sportsmen’s Club and will be knitting hats, gloves, and scarves for “Street Help/Unit 7 Homeless Services”.
They will also be accepting donations of sleeping bags, backpacks, and seasonal clothing, as well as raffling off a knitting gift bag from “Knit One, Sew Too”, all proceeds going to Street Help/Unit 7. Food and drinks available for purchase. All ages welcome.
You can also bring your own pattern to work off of. Non-knitters are welcome, as they will teach you to knit a simple cowel scarf.
