Built between 1965 and 1977, the Biology Building at the University of Windsor will soon be getting some major upgrades.
The University of Windsor’s Board of Governors approved a $2m project to renovate the interior and remove many of the building’s asbestos containing materials.
The project is designed to increase student experience with new flooring, classroom and laboratory design, heating and cooling systems, lighting and much more.
The entire project will take three to five years to complete due to the complexity of the project and removing asbestos.
