TD Bank In Tecumseh Robbed

OPP are investigating a bank robbery at the TD Bank located at 11846 Tecumseh Road in Tecumseh

At 7:50pm Thursday evening a lone male entered the bank and proceeded to spray an irritant into the air.  He then stole an undisclosed amount of money from the bank and left on foot.

Police say that two people were taken to hospital as a precautionary measure, and that there were no other injuries.

The only description OPP have at this time is that it was a white male.  The Essex County OPP K-9 unit, along with the Essex County Emergency Response Team have been searching the area for the suspect.

The OPP is asking anyone with information regarding the person responsible for this crime, to immediately contact the OPP Crime Unit at 519-723-2491 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.
