Windsor Police are warning about congestion and traffic delays on Huron Line on Wednesday as the Idle No More protest targets the Ambassador Bridge.

Police say that they have been in direct communication and are working with organizers of the protest, and that protesters will be arriving in Windsor on Wednesday morning from Highway 401.

A peaceful walk is planned at 11am from the intersection of Huron Church Road and Tecumseh Road West northbound towards the foot of the Ambassador Bridge. Protesters will then assemble at the foot of the Ambassador Bridge in the area of College Avenue and then will walk back to Tecumseh Road West.

Windsor Police are asking that people to monitor traffic conditions and to consider taking alternate routes Wednesday,
