$1000 For Your aWEsome Ideas

The Awesome Foundation Windsor-Essex has launched and plans to give away $1000 grants over the course of 2013.

Thirteen trustees investd their own money all with the purpose of forwarding the interest of ‘awesome’ in Windsor-Essex.

Applications can now be submitted online for the February 13th deadline. The Trustees will then choose their top four finalists to pitch ideas at a public event on March 13th at the Squirrel Cage. The winner will receive $1000, cold hard cash, no strings attached.

The rules are minimal:

The money can’t be for personal use
You don’t have to be a business, not-for-profit or charity
You CAN be an individual or group who has a great and awesome idea and needs a bit of help to get that idea moving along
Your idea can be kooky or creative or all about you but most importantly, it has to be aWEsome!
