Police from all over the region will be out in full force to make sure the last weekend leading up to Christmas is a safe one on the roads.
A joint forces operation will be in effect involving The Windsor Police Service, The LaSalle Police Service, The Amherstburg Police Service and The Ontario Provincial Police.
Together they will have several RIDE checkpoints set up in all our communities in an effort to keep our roadways safe.
Police say that if you drink, don’t drive. Have a plan. Consequences of drinking and driving can be fatal!
