A serious academic integrity matter has seen an important departmental figure stepping aside at the University of Windsor.
The University of Windsor announced today that Dr. Clinton Beckford, Dean of the Faculty of Education, has been placed on Administrative Leave and unpaid suspension effective immediately.
The University says the matter involves an “academic integrity breach” that includes plagiarism. They say the Dean will be on leave until at least June 30th 2014.
An Acting Dean will be appointed in the weeks to come.
