Just before 10pm Monday evening, Windsor Police were called to a residence in the 1100 block of South Pacific Avenue for a report of a home invasion robbery.
Police say that a 16-year-old male was at the residence visiting his 15-year-old friend, when two males came to the front door of the home asking the resident about purchasing some video games. The males were declined and then left the residence.
Approximately 30 minutes later, another knock was heard at the front door, and this time when it was opened by the resident, three males wearing ski masks were standing there. The 16-year-old victim told police he was struck in the nose with a handgun. The force of the blow rendered him unconscious. He told police that he could hear male voices speaking Arabic running up and down the stairs. Police say that there is some indication that there may have been additional males waiting in a black vehicle out front of the residence.
Police say that suspect information at this time is limited to three to five Arabic males wearing black ski masks.
The 16-year-old victim was transported to hospital for a non life threatening injury to his nose that required stitches to close.
