Reward Exceptional Local Businesses With A Business Excellence Awards Nomination

The Windsor-Essex Regional Chamber of Commerce has opened nominations for the 23rd Annual Business Excellence Awards. Since 1991, these awards have recognizing the achievements and contributions of business leaders in Windsor and Essex County.

This year the International Business Award and the Innovation Award make a return to the awards. Other awards up for grabs include Small Company of the Year, Large Company of the Year, Professional of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, Rising Star of the Year, Start Up of the Year, and Tourism & Hospitality Award (formerly Taste of Windsor Essex).

The deadline for nominations is Friday October 5th. Nominations can be submitted online or through fax or hard copy. Any individual can make nominations for any of the Business Excellence Award categories according to the criteria outlined for each award. Award categories and full descriptions are available online.

An independent judging panel comprised of local businesspersons will complete judging of the finalists in each award category and a winner for each category will be announced at the Business Excellence Awards on Wednesday April 24th 2013. Also included in the awards ceremony are the recipients of the Believe Windsor Essex and ATHENA Awards.
