Firefighters have extinguished a house fire in East Windsor, on the eastern perimeter of the Ford Motor Company Plant.
Fire broke out around 5:45am in the 1000 block of High Street. Windsor Fire officials say the house was vacant and as a result there are no injuries.
Firefighters worked to attack the blaze from multiple angles but the stubborn fire was trapped in the attic. An aerial unit was setup to knock down the blaze from the front yard.
Neighbours say the house was fully engulfed in flames at its most intense point and the blaze could be seen throughout the neighbourhood.
Windsor Police are on scene and are securing the house while a Windsor Fire inspector evaluates the cause of the blaze.
