Windsor Police have made a discovery of 77 marijuana plants growing on public property in the City of Windsor.
On Monday August 13th, the Windsor Police Drugs and Guns unit conducted an investigation after receiving a phone call from a citizen who observed marijuana plants growing on public property within the City of Windsor.
Officers discovered several marijuana plants growing that ranged in size of 6 inches to 4 feet tall.
Police seized 77 plants in total with an estimated value of $77,000.
Windsor Police are requesting anyone with information in relation to suspicious “grow operations” to call the Drugs and Guns unit at (519)-255-6700 ex # 4361 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at (519)-258-TIPS (8477).
The exact location of the discovered marijuana is being withheld by Police at this time.
