OPP Release Names of Crash Victims

Essex County OPP have now identified both victims killed Monday in separate accidents in the county.
Police say that 64-year-old Heinrich Peters of Lakeshore was killed when his vehicle left the road on North Talbot Road between Hopgood Sideroad and Essex Road 23, just outside of the town of Essex. Mr. Peters was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cyclist who was killed in a crash on Highway 3 in Leamington, in the early morning hours Monday Morning has been identified as Crisanto Jimenez Gomez age 38, of Tabasco, Mexico.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
