With the demand for parking downtown expected to rise when more students move into the core, and the introduction of parking permits on Dougall and Church streets between Wyandotte and Park, St. Andrews Church hopes to make some extra money by selling parking spaces during the week when their lot is not used.
The church has applied to the City of Windsor to allow for a change in their zoning to permit their parking lot to be used as public parking during weekdays. Money made will be used to offset the church’s operating costs.
