West End Zellers Closes Forever Within Days, Sales Still On

The days are numbered for the Zellers store on Huron Church and the store-wide liquidation sale is continuing. The store is offering deep discounts, but will not participate in the Zellers Flyer offers, HBC Credit and HBC Rewards offers, and all sales are final. Currently, sales are up to between 40% and 90% off.

This location has not been picked up by Target who will be converting the Devonshire mall location to a to Target store to open in 2013.

There are plans to redevelop the Huron Church plaza making room for a Fresh-Co location. The new grocery store is planned to go in the south section of what is currently Zellers, while the remaining portions of the building will be divided into up to four other retail units.

The Zellers store was originally scheduled to close for good at the end of business on Saturday June 2nd but this has been extended by a week and the store will close forever on Saturday June 9th at 6pm.
