Four Taken to Hospital After Three Separate Crashes on EC Row

Friday morning was a morning of multiple accidents on the E.C. Row expressway.
The first was involving two pickup trucks just after 7am. One pickup truck was traveling westbound on E.C. Row approaching Howard Avenue when it crossed the centre median and struck an east bound pickup truck. Both vehicles were driven by males. One driver was ejected from his vehicle.
Both drivers were transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The investigation continues.
The second accident happened when an east bound dump truck failed to stop for stopped traffic at Walker Road and jumped the jersey barrier causing it to slide sideways and block the east bound lanes. No injuries were reported.
The third accident happened just after 9am: a passenger vehicle traveling eastbound on the expressway was rear ended by a transport truck. Firefighters used the jaws of life to remove the rear door from the vehicle. The car contained four elderly people, two were taken to hospital with non life threatening injuries.
