Scotiabank on Ottawa Street Robbed

At 12:04pm this afternoon, police say that a lone male walked into the Scotiabank at 1357 Ottawa Street and presented a note to one of the tellers. The note stated that the suspect was armed and demanded cash. The teller gave the suspect a quantity of cash and he then fled the bank on foot in an unknown direction

The suspect’s face was not covered. No weapon was seen and nobody was injured.

The suspect is described as a white male, mid 20’s, short blonde hair, wearing a black, yellow and red coloured NASCAR ball cap, a baby blue t-shirt with yellow 3/4 length sleeves with #5 on the back of the shirt and beige shorts.

He wast last seen riding a white ladies mountain bike westbound on Ottawa Street.
