This week on Windsor’s source for local music, we’ll be having a special interview with a Halifax pop outfit in town to play a local venue.
The Windsor Scene would like to welcome Cousins to the airwaves, and on Wednesday night between 5 and 6:30 pm we’ll give you the chance to hear from the artists themselves, and have them tell you why you need to come to this show. Listening to their old-school, show-gazey tunes, it’s completely obvious why they have booked their Windsor date at Phog Lounge, the venue and sound complimenting each other perfectly. Joining them will be Windsor’s Learning and Way Gone, formerly known as Fox & Pro.
Currently in the midst of a tour that is bringing them all over North America, we’ll be discussing this east-coast band’s adventures on the road, recording, and, of course, their thoughts and feelings about playing in our favourite city.
In addition to speaking with Cousins, we’ll be hearing a variety of local music, as well. Grand Maris will be making their Windsor Scene debut, and we’ll also have tunes from Gypsy Chief Goliath, Meters to Miles, and Falling With Glory.
So this Wednesday, April 25th, make sure you’re tuned to CJAM 99.1 FM, and/or streaming live online. We’ll even have the entire thing available as a podcast after the fact, for your downloading pleasure.
