Windsor Visual: Preliminary Work Begins on Walker Road Reconstruction

Walker Road from Division to EC Row will be reconstructed this year, and utility relocations have began.

Walker Road will feature centre turning lanes on the entire stretch from Division to EC Row and as a result, the current wide shoulders will be reduced and reconstructed with new sidewalks.

Hydro pole relocations are now complete on the entire stretch of the roadway.

The project was identified for eight million dollars in funding in 2012 as part of an ongoing effort to repair the entire stretch of Walker from Riverside Drive. Riverside Drive to EC Row will be completed in phases in the future.
