University of Windsor players present their second last production of the season The Seagull:
Chekhov’s masterpiece of Realism explores the artistic and romantic conflicts of four characters: an old diva, a young and ambitious actress, an accomplished yet bored writer, and an unstable playwright ahead of his time. Like seagulls which soar over their remote country estate, each aspires to take flight and escape their tormented lives on the wings of fame, fortune, and love.
The play runs at the Essex Hall Theater this Tuesday to Sunday. Show times at at 8pm and Sunday afternoons at 2pm. Tickets are $18 to $20.
