Police Investigating Two Armed Robberies in Essex County

The OPP are investigating after a lone suspect entered the Petro-Canada Truck Stop on Hwy 77 at the 401, in Comber brandishing a firearm at approximately 7am this morning.
The suspect demanded money and left with a quantity of cash. No one was injured and no shots were fired.
Chatham-Kent Police are also investigating a similar type of incident which occurred at the Mac Milk Store, in Wheatley which occurred at 6am.
Police believe the two robberies are related. Police are looking for a white male, thin build, 5’8’’ in height and 165lbs, the male had brown hair and pronounced brown eyebrows.
At the time of the incident the suspect was wearing a black winter jacket with brown fur at the collar, black jogging pants with a grey stripe on the sides, tan work boots and a grey ski mask.
A firearm was presented and seen by employees. Police are also on the look out for a newer model Silver Jetta with shinny rims and possible dark tinted windows, It is believed that this vehicle was involved in these Robberies.
