Residents of Riverside and those who use St. Rose Avenue as a shortcut from Wyandotte to Lauzon will see significant changes to the roadway over the next year. St. Rose, one of Riverside’s original thoroughfares, has been in poor condition for several years and at no point ever had actual curbs or gutters.
If approved by City Council and the Windsor Environment & Transportation Committee, St. Rose Avenue will be repaved with concrete curbs, sewers, a new watermain and elements of boulevards will be restored.
